From the early 8,000 tokens to the modern 1-million+ token capabilities of models like Gemini 1.5 Pro, the ability to “remember” vast amounts of data in a single prompt has changed how we interact with AI.
What is a Context Window?
The context window is the total amount of text (tokens) an LLM can process at one time. This includes your prompt, previous conversation history, and any uploaded documents.
